The only neighborhood observations I've had thus far are hummingbirds, which is pretty darn cool, but I can't tell which species yet. DK about squirrels, as I haven't noticed any.<BR/><BR/>I'm also missing free wifi within walking distance--there's a very cool coffee house three or four blocks away, but inexplicably, they don't provide access to the tubes. I'm posting this from home, by means of a stolen/borrowed connection that hasn't been available previously. <BR/><BR/>I did manage to find the nearest Trader Joe's last night, by repeated trial and error in the endless mall purgatory of Emeryville.
